Thanksgiving week is probably one of the happiest times of the year for me, other than Christmas. My family always gets together, cooks food and enjoys being together. We also play our instruments and sing old hymns and praise songs to God and it always fills me with His Presence.
Satan’s also been attacking me spiritually this week. How many of you have felt him attacking? Sometimes, it feels so hard to understand why bad things happen or maybe even it feels too hard to go on. Let me tell you this. Satan will attack you where you’re weakest. He knows what buttons to push and he will do anything he can to destroy you. Even if that means he uses other people against you. Or maybe even he uses you against other people.
This week, I prayed and told God that I didn’t want to be a weapon Satan used to hurt my loved ones. I can have a terrible temper and sometimes I think Satan uses my temper to hurt others. I don’t want to be that. I want to be God’s instrument that He uses to uplift, encourage, and inspire others.
Whenever Satan attacks you, no matter what difficulties he uses against you, go to God in prayer. We are in spiritual warfare and it’s real. Sometimes, I think it’s easy for us to forget that but we have to stay rooted and grounded in God’s Word so we can quote Scripture, pray it, and fight back against our enemy.
Your anger, your loved ones, your difficulties and hard circumstances, your bad finances, your sickness, your addiction, even your sin is not your enemy. Satan is the enemy and he will use whatever he can against you. Don’t let him use you another day.
Let’s all pray for each other today. The Bible says when two or three are gathered together in God’s Name, He is there among them. Let Him gather with us now as we fight spiritual warfare together.
If you have any prayer requests, comment them below (or just say unnamed) and I’ll say a special prayer for you. Don’t forget to be thankful for our Lord and Savior during this happy and joyful holiday season! God bless and I hope you had a fantastic and blessed Thanksgiving week!
Thank you very much for sharing this with me, it made me cry. I too have been attacted by Satan this week, I’m not use to being this busy with the pain I’m in physical with my back. I enjoyed this article.
