Have you ever felt like God doesn’t hear your prayers? Does it feel like sometimes you’re just talking into thin air? You’ve had to wait for weeks, months, maybe even years, and have gone for what feels like forever without an answer or a reply from God? I’m here to tell you that God has not forgotten you!
“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)” (Hebrews 10:23).
It’s easy to feel forgotten by God. Grab onto our hope in Jesus and never let go. He has already won; He conquered death and Hell and one day will come back and win victory over everything. One day, all of our fears, tears, and sorrow will be wiped away by God Himself. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 56:3).
God will answer your prayers and He has not, nor will He ever, forget about you. He knows and plans every detail of your life, so much more than you could ever think or imagine. God loves you so much and He wants what’s best for you. “‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’” (Jeremiah 29:11).
God will answer our prayers for His purpose, not our own. He will do it to lead and guide us onto the path He has called us to be on. I know how easy it is to give into fear, but ultimately God knows us better than we know ourselves. The fact is, it’s so easy to have fear, but it’s hard to have faith. God is walking with you on the journey of your life and when times get too hard, He’s carrying you.
God will keep all of His Promises. Every single prayer you pray will be answered. It may not be when we want it. It may not be what we want. It may not be how we want it. Yet, it will be an answer. It will be the answer that is best for us. God will give us what we need and provide us with a good, abundant life.
A life worthy for Him.
