Christmas is a joyful time of year. Some people love it for the presents and the food—who doesn’t adore good food? Your favorite part of Christmas may be the snow, the Christmas carols, the decorations, Santa Claus, or giving gifts.
But which of these is the point of Christmas? What makes Christmas so special? Is it your friends and family or the time you have to share together? Is it how much fun you have, or the time you have off work and away from school?
This collection of 50 sweet, short stories all deal with the very heart of Christmas—Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
I’m super excited because Christmas is my favorite holiday and we’re getting into the holiday season. But during this time, it’s important to remember the real reason why we are celebrating—the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That’s what I tried to express in this collection. There are many diverse characters and stories—about a puppy that is adopted for Christmas, a couple ice skating together, a woman working at a homeless shelter on Christmas, a drunkard coming home to reunite with his family, two siblings fighting over presents, a group of kids being surprised by Toys for Tots and many, many others. But underneath them all is The Heart of Christmas, Jesus Christ—the reason for the season.
